Men's Health Week
Posted on June 11, 2025
June 9-15, the week leading up to Father’s Day, is Men’s Health Week! It’s a week to celebrate the important men in our lives and encourage them to take care of their health! Here are some simple tips to help encourage some healthy lifestyle routines.
- Physical Exercise: Physical activity can either be solo, such as hitting the gym, or something social, such as golfing with friends or biking with the family. Find activities that suit your ability and include people who encourage the habit.
- Nutrient-rich Foods: Enjoy foods and meals that are full of nutrients, meaning they are typically lower in calories, yet provide a high amount of nutrients. Be sure to include in your diet high-quality lean protein, such as lean beef, whole grains that are high in fiber, fruits, veggies, and low-fat dairy products.
- Healthcare: If you’ve been putting off scheduling a health-related appointment, do it today! Whether it’s an annual physical, mental health visits, or dental needs, be sure to make annual healthcare visits a habit.
